Public Sector Network has convened a group of Senior Level Public Sector Leaders
Public Sector Network (PSN) has assembled a Leadership Advisory Board consisting of Senior Level Public Sector Leaders to support and guide its events and new initiatives for the US Public Sector. The board will focus on identifying opportunities for development, ideation, and learning from public sector professionals in order to advance leadership across communities. The board features leaders from various departments and jurisdictions, including representatives from the USPTO, the State of Montana, and the City of Mesa, among others.

A report by the respected Ponemon Institute in 2022 stated that ‘insider threats have increased in both frequency and cost over the past two years. Credential thefts, for example, have almost doubled in number since 2020’.[5] An article commenting on the report says that the overall number of incidents went up by 44% in just two years, whilst the cost to impacted organizations went up from US$11.45 million in 2020 to an average of US$15.4 million in 2022, which is a 34% increase. Speaking in November 2022 after the release of the ACSC report and after the two major corporate breaches, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said ‘it's a huge wakeup call and companies need to get their act together...we need to do much better.’ He then added that ‘the government has stepped up, [now] the private sector needs to step up in the interest of their customers but also their own interest.’[7]
