The Virginia Department of Correction is in the business of helping people be better. The Information Technology Unit is focused on delivering first-class technology services to enable our staff, inmates, and supervisees to achieve the goal of long-term public safety. Every day the Information Technology Unit focuses on delivering a technical eco-system that supports the many diverse areas of our agency which includes security, health care, agriculture, education, and administrative support functions.
