The last few years of the pandemic disruptions have shown to all levels of government that they need to change, adapt and innovate, not just from a technology standpoint but from a process perspective too. In many ways, COVID-19 was the catalyst that many agencies and
departments were looking for, but it also forced changes that were not always planned or properly thought through due to the fast pace of the transformation that accompanied the first phase of the pandemic response.
Now with hindsight and more time to plan, many agencies are consolidating the gains they made whilst also embedding other permanent changes to better suit their needs. And they are also making the appropriate process changes that will ensure long-term success.
