Event Overview
The State of California faces existential issues that will impact the rest of the country, if not the world, at some point in the near future. Topics like climate change and the environment; rising costs of living and significant unhoused populations; racial discrimination and calls for restorative justice; and growing political divides and distrust of the government, are all top of mind for Californians of all backgrounds.
Luckily, California leads the way when it comes to innovative and trail-blazing government policy and services. It is seen as a best-in-class leader on which other governments seek to model their policies. Technology has unlocked countless opportunities for growth, collaboration, and improvement among the State’s agencies and departments. But challenges like resource constraints, communication breakdowns, and simply being the first to act currently present significant roadblocks for California’s public sector professionals.
How can California’s public sector leaders continue to drive innovation to address these fundamental issues in 2023? What initiatives are the State’s myriad agencies and departments spearheading to attract quality talent to government while retaining and upskilling current employees? How can technology ease the burden of communication and collaboration in a safe and secure manner?
Public Sector Network’s second Government Innovation California in-person event will bring together public sector leaders across all levels of government from across the State and region to share their innovative ideas and cutting-edge initiatives and projects. Join your peers in conversation as we kick off a successful 2023!
