Raise is a tech-forward workforce solutions company providing services to meet the unique staffing and hiring needs of our 500+ (including 127 enterprise) clients in North America.

We began in 1957 as a specialized recruitment firm named Ian Martin. In 2022, we rebranded to be Raise, so our name better reflects our mission to connect people in meaningful work. Today, we provide a range of workforce solutions to our clients including Payrolling/EOR/AOR, Direct Sourcing & Talent Pooling, Contingent Recruitment, Permanent/Executive Search, RPO, and Supplier Management.

Each year, Raise provides more than 100,000 professionals to our clients, supporting more than 185 countries in North America, APAC, EMEA, and LATAM. We have offices in six countries and 400 internal employees, including more than 250 global curators and recruiters.

We are not your usual recruitment firm. Raise is a purpose-driven, values-led enterprise that operates with a triple bottom line of people, planet, profit. We embrace the future as stewards---of the careers of our candidates, the projects of our clients, the communities that surround us, and the environment we inhabit. Through our Meaningful Work Foundation, Raise's nonprofit arm, we donate 10% of our profits every year to organizations that dismantle barriers to meaningful work. We currently have six community grant recipients across Canada. Since 2018, we have proudly donated more than $815,000 to 44 charities.
