Annuo Med Tech Solutions

A healthcare networking platform for doctors, allied health professionals and patients to ensure truly collaborative care

Annuo Med Tech Solutions has developed Annuo  - a  networking platform for doctors, patients and allied health professionals ensuring truly collaborative care. The software for healthcare providers integrates seamlessly with the Annuo mobile app to put real time, quality information into doctors’ and patients’ hands.

The driver for the development of the platform was the fact that chronic disease is the biggest burden on the healthcare system today, with 47% of Australians living with one or more chronic conditions. However many patients are not fully aware of the treatment  they need.  Only one in three Australians with a chronic condition have access to a chronic disease management plan, and many that do have a treatment plan cannot follow it. This can lead to worse health outcomes for patients, often requiring more intensive and costly medical interventions. In fact it is estimated Medicare spends around $7-8  billion every year on care and treatment for adverse outcomes resulting from inadequately managed chronic conditions.

Annuo has been designed by doctors to help all healthcare providers create and communicate effective treatment plans so people  living with chronic conditions can have an improved quality of life. Annuo streamlines information shared between healthcare consumers and clinicians and provides a seamless ecosystem where a patient’s entire treating team and the patient can collaborate in a virtual closed loop to ensure the best possible health outcomes.

Annuo will help all Australians better manage their health by promoting a  healthier lifestyle with  wellness tracking, and providing timely prompts to access appropriate medical checks in keeping with clinical guidelines. Ultimately Annuo will give people  more ownership over their health, leading to better quality of life for individuals and offering them some freedom from dependence on the overburdened  health system.
