Event overview

Around the world, governments continue to grapple with modernization as they work to build more efficient, responsive, and citizen-focused organizations. For federal HR and finance leaders in Canada, this challenge is particularly complex. Balancing legacy systems, evolving workforce expectations, and increasing demands for transparency and service delivery are just a few of the many tasks that leaders in the GC manage day in day out.

As public sector organizations look to modernize IT and workforce strategies, the focus is shifting from simply adopting new technologies to addressing the broader transformation of how work gets done. At the center of this transformation is artificial intelligence. While AI presents clear opportunities to improve productivity, automate administrative processes, and enhance decision-making, it also introduces important questions around implementation, skills, governance, and trust.

Many organizations are still determining where to begin and how to move beyond static workforce planning, how to integrate AI into daily workflows, and how to ensure these tools meaningfully support employees rather than add complexity. As such, we are pleased to announce Public Sector Network and Workday’s upcoming AI in the Canadian Federal Enterprise Event in Ottawa!

This event will give technology, HR, IT and finance leaders the chance to explore how organizations are navigating these challenges in practice. Through shared experiences and discussion, participants will examine how peers are approaching AI-enabled workforce transformation, modernizing HR and finance systems, and rethinking skills development to better align with evolving mission needs.
