Session Overview
From quantum technology to computer vision, renewable energy to AI, South Australia is a powerhouse when it comes to innovation, ingenuity and invention. South Australia’s innovation districts, business parks and manufacturing precincts including Lot Fourteen, Tonsley Innovation District and Adelaide BioMed City, are the result of $9.5 billion investment from consecutive state and federal governments, alongside industry, education and research organisation support.
In a nation-leading first, South Australia will deliver a 10-year roadmap for government, research, business and industry to transform the state’s economic complexity by accelerating the impact of South Australia’s innovation places.
The new Innovation Places Leadership Framework is expected to unlock state-wide employment for over 42,000 people across South Australia’s 22 innovation hubs while supporting essential economic growth, investment attraction, job creation, regional connectivity and link state-wide education, skills and workforce programs.
