According to survey respondents from the
ANZ Cyber Security Roadshow in 2021
, the majority of Australia and New Zealand's public sector agencies are currently in the strategy development and implementation phases of their cyber security transformation.
Interestingly larger, ACT-based Federal agencies (those more involved in national security and backed by greater funding) seem to be most advanced with
77% in the implementation phase
and a further
11%
considering their
enhancement journey 'complete
'; which sees an informed culture, stringent technology controls and comprehensive processes.
