Event overview

British Columbia is moving from digitizing services to delivering connected services across government. As expectations rise and services become complex, leaders need to design around people’s needs, share data safely, and coordinate work across ministries, programs, and channels. Connected Services BC is advancing this vision through life and business events, common platforms, data interoperability, and new ways of working. The focus now is turning that progress into value for people, businesses, and public sector teams.

Government Innovation Showcase CSBC 2026, delivered by Public Sector Network in partnership with Connected Services BC, will demonstrate innovation in action and the value already being delivered across the province. Under the event theme, Inspiring Change, Powering Progress: Innovation in Action for the Public Sector, the agenda follows three interconnected narratives: designing services around people’s needs, connecting government through shared data and common platforms, and transforming through collaboration and new ways of working. Through keynotes, panels, fireside chats, and industry insights, delegates will explore connected service design, trusted data sharing, responsible AI adoption, workforce change, transparency, cybersecurity, privacy, and First Nations data sovereignty. Join peers in Victoria to examine what is working, exchange lessons, and identify steps for delivering trusted, people-centred services across government.
