Government Cyber Security Showcase Queensland 2026

10 Sep 2026
Royal International Convention Centre, Queensland

Event overview

As Queensland moves deeper into the delivery phase of the Queensland Government’s Cyber Security Strategy 2025–2027, the focus is shifting from strategy to execution. As digital transformation accelerates across government and preparations intensify for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, cyber security is becoming increasingly central to trusted service delivery, operational resilience and the protection of critical infrastructure.

Lessons from recent global events, including the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, have reinforced the scale and sophistication of cyber threats surrounding major public-facing operations, with government systems, transport networks and digital platforms becoming high-value targets. At the same time, emerging technologies, supply chain dependencies and evolving regulatory obligations are increasing the complexity of the threat landscape and reshaping how agencies build cyber resilience.

The Government Cyber Security Showcase Queensland 2026 brings together senior government leaders, cyber security professionals and industry partners to examine how Queensland is strengthening cyber resilience in practice. From Olympic readiness and regulatory reform to critical infrastructure security, supply chain risk and emerging threats, the event will focus on the practical strategies, partnerships and leadership needed to secure Queensland’s digital future.
