Digital NSW 2026 Showcase

The Accessibility track focuses on advancing digital inclusion, accessibility, and connectivity to ensure all NSW citizens can fully engage with government services. Focused on designing digital services based on the needs of the community and removing barriers, it explores the strategic application of collaboration, co-design and HCD to develop solutions that meet diverse user needs. Sessions will explore how enhanced connectivity and accessible digital frameworks are driving equitable service delivery and innovation across NSW to build a government that is responsive, efficient, and capable of caters to all NSW citizens.

The AI track is dedicated to driving innovation, efficiency and enhanced productivity across the NSW public service. Centred on the strategic integration of artificial intelligence, it examines how these tools can streamline operations and enhance service delivery. The track highlights the evolving role of CIOs as key leaders in digital transformation, guiding technology adoption and aligning IT with organisational goals. Sessions will focus on harnessing AI-driven automation and collaborative service models to unlock greater productivity, reduce costs, and position the public sector for a more agile and responsive future.

Addressing the fundamental need for privacy and security in public services, the Trust track explores how NSW government is ensuring robust and secure services to maintain citizen confidence. We’ll discuss strategies to safeguard sensitive data through robust security frameworks, digital identity solutions, and privacy by design principles. The track highlights the importance of transparency, compliance, and proactive risk management in protecting information to support a government that upholds integrity while enabling secure, seamless service delivery in an increasingly complex digital environment.

Addressing the imperative for a government equipped to navigate tomorrow’s challenges, the Future Ready Government track explores how NSW can cultivate innovation, sustainability, and capability across its public sector. We’ll examine strategies to foster a dynamic start-up ecosystem that drives transformative solutions. The track also focuses on implementing comprehensive climate change initiatives to strengthen resilience and sustainability in government operations. Additionally, it highlights the critical development of digital skills to ensure a workforce prepared for evolving demands – all to ensure NSW Government has the foundation for agility, responsivity and future capability.
