Event Overview

We are excited to announce the return of Innovate WA in 2024 to
showcase the burgeoning digital economy in WA and provide an in-depth
update into significant facets of Western Australia’s evolving digital landscape, evaluating its digital journey to date, and highlighting its strategic progress in charting a path forward in a critical and complex digital era.

Taking place at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year’s iteration will bring together over 300 attendees to explore case studies from
diverse WA departments, covering topics such as pioneering technology
procurement, improved citizen service experiences via technology and data, agency cost-cutting possibilities, and the empowerment of person-centered healthcare practices through digitization, among other engaging topics.

Don’t miss your opportunity to be at the forefront of discussion on challenges, initiatives, and the latest developments that are changing the face of the public sector in WA.

Deep Dive Into Two Dedicated Streams

Digital & CX

In this stream, we will be looking at innovative ways to improve the delivery of online services to the community and investigating the strategies to promote digital inclusion so all Western Australians can access those services – both on and offline. We will also examine ways to improve our digital culture and to create a modern workforce boasting the skills required for a contemporary public sector.

Technology & Data

During these sessions we will delve into the world of data sharing and open data, strategies for implementing higher cyber security standards across departments, and continue the discussion on how government can work to become a consumer of ICT infrastructure services instead of owning and operating ICT infrastructure alone.
