Last Year’s Event Overview
The future of government services is digital. Therefore, the way we design interactions, transactions, businesses, and enable dynamic leadership, makes the demand for a Citizen Focused Government continue to rise.
While excitement and excess might be a boon to such accelerations, the core focus of The Western Australian Government’s digital strategy is to remain level-headed, human, and inclusive – on purpose.
PSN’s ‘Innovate WA’ Showcase 2023 in collaboration with EY brings together leaders and experts from across WA’s Public Sector, Australia and overseas to discuss challenges and to share current initiatives and latest developments that are changing the face of the Government.
Deep Dive Into Two Dedicated Streams
Digital & CX
In this stream we will be looking at innovative ways to improve the delivery of online services to the community and investigating the strategies to promote digital inclusion so all Western Australians can access those services – both on and offline. We will also examine ways to improve our digital culture and to create a modern workforce boasting the skills required for a contemporary public sector.
Technology & Data
During these sessions we will delve into the world of data sharing and open data, strategies for implementing higher cyber security standards across departments, and continue the discussion on how government can work to become a consumer of ICT infrastructure services instead of owning and operating ICT infrastructure alone.
