About XPRIZE and the XPRIZE Canada Hub

For more than 30 years, XPRIZE has been the global leader in designing and operating large-scale incentive competitions that address humanity’s greatest challenges. Its unique model mobilizes innovators from around the world, accelerating breakthrough solutions that advance a more equitable, sustainable, and abundant future. To date, XPRIZE competitions have engaged innovators in 174 countries, unlocking new technologies, industries, and pathways to global impact.

Building on this legacy, XPRIZE is establishing physical hubs in strategic regions around the world in partnership with visionary public- and private-sector collaborators. These hubs strengthen local innovation ecosystems, connect global challenges with regional expertise, and enable more innovators to participate in designing solutions to the world’s most pressing problems.

The XPRIZE Canada Hub serves as a national focal point for challenge-driven innovation in Canada. The Hub works to:

• Raise awareness of XPRIZE’s mission and global competitions

• Engage and support Canadian innovators to participate and succeed in competitions

• Build a strong ecosystem of partners who help teams develop, launch, and scale solutions with global impact

Through these efforts, the Canada Hub is helping position Canada as a leader in breakthrough innovation and global problem-solving.
