Western Australia AI Hub is a community-led accelerator for responsible, practical AI. Founded in Perth in 2024, we bring together government, industry, academia and startups to help accelerate confident AI adoption across the public sector.

We help agencies move from AI curiosity to confident, well-governed practice. Our work connects three areas of capability:

Human-centred digital government and CX: Grounded in 25+ years of experience in UX and service design, we help teams ensure AI improves services and outcomes for people.
Practical AI and data capability: Hands-on learning that builds the confidence to understand and apply AI without the jargon.
Responsible AI governance: Translating AI principles and frameworks into practical policies, processes and everyday decision-making.

Our hands-on programs include the Responsible AI Governance Sprint™, a four-week executive program designed to help leaders operationalise responsible AI governance; AI4Me™, a practical capability sprint for building AI confidence; and the Australia AI Business Index™, a state-by-state benchmark of AI readiness.
