GOV AI Inc. was founded in 2025 with a clear mission: to help local governments build a strong foundation for AI governance, one that empowers public agencies to harness the power of artificial intelligence safely, securely, and responsibly.

Our journey started with first-hand experience. After working in senior leadership roles across three cities and a county, including serving in the Chief Administrative Office of one of California's largest counties, our founder saw a clear gap: while the promise of AI was growing, the public sector lacked the governance frameworks and tools needed to implement it with confidence and integrity.

That insight shaped the development of ThinkGov, our AI Governance & Workspace platform built specifically from the local government perspective. We understand how the wheels of government turn, the complexities of procurement, the importance of transparency, and the need for policy alignment, and we've designed every aspect of ThinkGov to fit into that reality.
