The company was founded by Karim Ganame, a renowned researcher with a PhD in cybersecurity. StreamScan stands out as one of the first companies to apply artificial intelligence to the detection of cyberthreats. Our Cyberthreat Detection System (CDS) has been recognized by the Canadian government as an innovative cybersecurity solution.

The CDS is the only intrusion detection system developed in Quebec.

Thanks to our CDS technology, StreamScan has carried out projects for Canadian National Defence and the Communications Security Establishment of Canada (CSE). We have also developed a prototype AI-based technology to detect cyber-attacks targeting Royal Canadian Air Force fighter jets.
