SmartAIConnect, a 2021-founded startup based on the Gold Coast, Australia, is making strides in Responsible AI solutions for AI cameras. With a dedicated team of 15 employees, including skilled outbound developers, the company has rapidly gained prominence, boasting an annual revenue of approximately $500,000. 

In 2023, SmartAIConnect achieved a significant feat by winning the coveted "Best Startup Solution of the Year" title at both State and National iAwards presented by the Australian Information Industry Association. This accolade recognises their ground-breaking innovation, the "SmartAIConnect Responsible AI Framework." 

The Responsible AI Framework revolutionises AI application management, governance, assurance and reporting (compliance) in AI edge implementation at scale. Users can autonomously deploy AI models at scale globally with or without video security system. 

A key milestone in SmartAIConnect's journey is its strategic partnership with CCTV camera manufacturer i-PRO (formally i-PRO Panasonic). This collaboration allows clients to manage i-PRO and third-party AI applications on AI cameras at scale, including other manufacturers (non-i-PRO cameras), enabling deployment across multiple sites and offering a comprehensive AI management solution. 

Notably, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), a prominent Australian government research and technology organisation, recently featured the SmartAIConnect Responsible AI Framework on their website.
