PAL

PAL (Process. Automation. Learning.) is an Australian-built process execution platform developed by PAL Solutions Pty Ltd in Canberra.

Legacy process tools produce documents. A map you can read, a policy you can file, an audit you run after the fact. PAL runs the process. Roles, timing, decision logic and evidence live inside each step, so the people doing the work are guided in real time and every action is recorded as it happens. The map is the runtime.

For government, this closes the gap between how a process is written and how it is actually performed. Compliance is confirmed during execution, not reconstructed at the end. Drift is visible the moment it occurs. Accountability is native, not bolted on.

PAL is also built as a control layer around AI. Where agencies want to use AI in operational processes, PAL provides deterministic, step-level guardrails with human validation at every point that matters, and a verifiable record of what was done, by whom and when. This is governed execution, not autonomous automation.

Built on the PULSE framework (Process Unified Language for Simulation and Execution), which is the subject of a current research engagement with CSIRO on process formalisation and soundness verification.

Hosted entirely on AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2). Australian-owned, Australian-developed, Australian data. PAL Solutions is pursuing ISO 27001 certification via Sprinto, and an IRAP assessment pathway is underway.
