My career began in broadcast television, where precision, trust, and calm teamwork were non-negotiable. That lesson - teams win together - shaped everything that followed.

I moved into HR and spent two decades building high-performing teams across technology, media, banking, and government - often through growth, M&A, and transformation. Highlights I’m proud of: at Vodafone, I helped stand up a 600-seat contact centre and cut turnover from 70% to 35% in a year. At Yahoo!7, we reduced attrition from 45% → 28% in 18 months, integrated multiple acquisitions, and achieved BRW Great Place to Work #21. At ING, as Executive Director HR, I led a 35-person team, introduced agile ways of working, maintained 82% engagement.

Then life pressed pause. Losing my sister and later my dad pushed me to reassess what matters. I rediscovered the joy of hands-on impact and chose to build a firm focused on what changes everything - who you hire and how you treat them.

That’s why I co-founded Lex & Winkle with my business partner, Eric. We believe recruitment isn’t transactional - it’s human, strategic, and culture-defining.
