About Us
At Burke Cybersecurity Consulting, our mission is to help our Government clients surround themselves with the right vendors, and establish the necessary systems and culture to support those relationships. When this is achieved, our clients will maximise the value they get from the vendor solution, realising operational and competitive advantages that could otherwise be lost.

Our principal consultant, Nigel Burke, has over 25 years of experience in IT, sales and account management across a range of industries. Over the years he has developed strong relationships with the leading vendors in each category and will leverage off these relationships for our clients.

Burke Cybersecurity Consulting was created to offer a unique approach to traditional vendor management. We are a small business, vendor agnostic, we don’t provide any managed services and as such our business model is not dependant on upselling additional services to our clients. Our sole focus and passion is to facilitate, and maximise the potential of, the relationship between our client and the vendor. Our aim is to bring back a personal touch to vendor relationships, instead of the often rigid frameworks and faceless transactions that is commonplace.

How we leverage vendor relationships
Reliance on vendors and other third parties has never been more critical, as globalisation and cloud technologies continue to grow and relationships become deeper and more complex. As a result, vendor management is evolving from an ad hoc, back-office function to a key part of business operations with dedicated resources and increasing visibility in the board room.

We understand the key factors that drive this change, and help our clients realise more value and minimise risk in these vendor relationships. We provide a clear path to leverage vendor relationships through our vendor management framework and vendor lifecycle management framework.
