Accelerating Alberta's Government 3.0 Transformation

Government Innovation Week Alberta returns to Edmonton as the province's premier gathering for public sector digital transformation. This three-day program brings together 500+ leaders, practitioners, and innovators to navigate Alberta's evolution from Government 2.0 to Government 3.0. This includes moving from basic digital services to AI-enabled systems, data-driven decision-making, and proactive citizen engagement. Aligned with current provincial priorities in responsible AI adoption, digital identity, and cybersecurity resilience, this event addresses the critical transformation challenges facing Alberta's public sector. Whether you're a senior executive, IT leader, or frontline professional, you'll gain the insights, frameworks, and peer connections essential for leading Alberta's Government 3.0 transformation.

These events are fantastic because we get to talk with like-minded people who face the same issues. Sometimes, we come up with solutions during discussions or identify a vendor who can help resolve problems within our organizations.

What your peers had to say

Great way to network and find out what is going on in the sector and projects across other ministries- we don’t share outside a facilitated event like this

I had a great time! The networking was ideal and I learned a lot from the speeches and panels. I appreciate that none of the sessions were lengthy, it was great variety. Also - great food and snacks!
