Digital Identity

Understanding the policy, practice, and delivery of identity management in the Public Sector

The rapid migration to digital technologies for Canadian society will continue as we enter and navigate a post-pandemic life. As citizen expectations for digital services rise, governments are looking at digital identity technologies and infrastructures that can modernize their service strategy and provide citizens with a seamless experience – one that can be accessed anywhere, anytime and from any device. Digital identity will be the key enabler of this vision, which will empower citizens and help build a more connected digital society.

Last year, we examined the big issues that influenced digital identity strategy and the importance of building a framework that is safe, secure, reliable, and cost-effective. With both provincial and federal governments across Canada now moving closer to implementing these new frameworks, how is digital identity being used as a catalyst for further transformation and change? How can these technologies set the foundation for a more inclusive digital economy?

Public Sector Network’s Digital Identity virtual event will bring together public sector leaders to explore areas of opportunity, address barriers to adoption, and deliver insights from real life examples that can help organizations work towards a digital future that is seamless, secure, effective, and inclusive.
