2024 Overview

Each year, cyber threats and attacks become more sophisticated and increase in volume. Today’s hackers employ increasingly innovative methods to breach servers and infiltrate IT architectures. The Australian Signals Directorate’s (ASD) Annual Cyber Threat Report for 2022-23 reported a 23% increase in cybercrime reports in the financial year.

Public sector organisations in New South Wales must equip their employees to be more vigilant. Cyber security is no longer a function that sits within the IT department, it’s training skills, and knowledge, to the wider teams to assist with the organisations’ online safety procedures.

With a diverse speaker lineup of senior thought leaders in this space, the NSW Cyber Security Showcase presents unique perspectives from leading NSW government agencies, industry, technology providers, and academia. Join your peers across the state as they explore key strategies to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from cyber security incidents through capability and capacity uplift across people, processes, tools, and technology.
