Event overview

Victoria is accelerating into a new era of digital government and a more connected Government 3.0—strengthening the foundations needed to deliver smarter services, scale artificial intelligence responsibly, and build long-term public trust. As Victoria advances its AI Mission Statement and broader digital transformation agenda, the focus is shifting from ambition to measurable delivery.

Government Innovation Week Victoria 2026 brings together senior public sector leaders, digital and cyber specialists, and trusted partners for a full week of insight and collaboration. Across four cornerstone events—the Government Innovation Showcase, Cyber Security Showcase, Digital Leadership Day, and Local Government Focus Day—the program explores how Victoria is building the systems, skills and governance needed to deliver modern public services at scale.

The week will spotlight how agencies and councils are turning strategy into measurable impact through:

  • Responsible AI, digital platforms and modern data foundations
  • Cyber resilience and secure transformation to protect public trust
  • Leadership and workforce uplift to drive sustainable change towards connected Government 3.0 delivery
  • Council innovation and service redesign to meet growing community expectations

From whole-of-government capability building to real-world case studies and cross-sector collaboration, Government Innovation Week Victoria is where ideas move into execution—supporting a more connected, future-ready public sector for all Victorians.
