Safer Cities 2021

Online: Tuesday, September 28, 2021 | Time: 12:00-2:25pm ET / 9:00-11:25am PT

Building Capacity and Mobilizing Technologies to Foster Community Safety, Well-Being and Inclusivity

As Canada works to open the economy, it is imperative that municipalities invest in enhanced security strategies. The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored how crucial it is to have a community preparedness and resiliency plan in place. Besides these pressures, there is of course an ongoing need for public safety, law enforcement, emergency services, municipalities, and other entities to ensure all the communities are free from crime and violence.

With these factors in mind, Public Sector Network is pleased to reconvene for our 2nd Safer Cities virtual event, which will bring together key government leaders, municipalities, policymakers, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to discuss key strategies for creating and maintaining safe and resilient cities. This virtual summit will also share best practices on how technology can help to build capability and mobilize municipalities to foster community well-being.
