Overview

As the NSW Government continues digital transformation —the pressure in 2025 is mounting for public sector leaders to drive people-centred, system-wide reform that delivers tangible outcomes.

But while momentum is building, many digital initiatives still underperform—not due to technology constraints, but because of challenges in change management, cross-agency coordination, and stakeholder alignment. As highlighted in the NSW Digital Government Strategy, sustainable transformation hinges on building the internal capacity to lead change across complex and resource-constrained environments.

This course is designed to close that gap.

Grounded in real-world examples from NSW agencies—the program supports staff from Grade 9/10 through to Senior Executive levels in navigating the human side of digital reform.

Participants will gain practical tools to:

Lead and embed change across interdepartmental initiatives,
Manage stakeholder resistance and alignment,
Deliver reform that lasts beyond project cycles.

This course is designed for NSW public sector professionals at Grade 9/10 through to Senior Executive Band 2, including senior leaders responsible for policy, service delivery, digital transformation, and operational performance.
