Upsides Training

At Upsides, our mission is to amplify government’s positive impact on our world by increasing the effectiveness of its largest but most often underutilised cohort – staff under 35.

Why?

Government strategies fail unless the staff tasked with delivering are committed, equipped and empowered to put in their own best effort.

Non-management staff make up 75% of the average government workforce – you can’t get much done if ¾ of your team are checked out.

Surprisingly, nearly half of that 75% are under 35. This cohort values being part of something that matters. They want to have impact. And they want the security of knowing they will make steady progress through their career.

This is where we come in.

With decades of experience in leading young (and not-so-young) staff, government program delivery and training, Upsides exists to deliver training to young public servants that achieves three things every time.
