Buzz Communications was founded by Megan Thomas after 25 years leading communication and change management teams in-house for financial and professional services, government, media and not-for-profits. Megan was also President of IABC NSW for 3 years, and 6 years on the board.

Her extensive practical expertise is now focussed on consulting services, communication masterclasses, coaching and sharing knowledge. She has a strategic, results-driven and creative approach has helped many organisations achieve their goals, manage risk and build trust with employees and stakeholders.

Megan has been described as “a leading voice for GenAI”, publishing widely on AI’s impact on communication, leadership and organisational change, and creating practical AI skills guides - grounded in over 5 years AI experience.

A sought-after speaker, she’s delivered keynotes on a variety of topics across the globe, from effective leadership communication to behavioural science, crisis communication, the future of work, AI, data and measurement.
