Bastion Insights is a research agency that focuses on discovering the ‘why’ and uncovering the ‘how’ for both commercial and government clients.

With a team of 14 highly skilled practitioners, our research covers all areas of business issues across four broad schools of thought – experience design (customer experience, user experience), communications (strategy development, communications testing), behaviour change (awareness, usage, attitudes) and cross-cultural insights (with a focus on understanding the Australian Chinese market). We utilise approaches that span traditional to cutting edge methodologies and have pioneered research in the digital age through our long-term use of online communities, customer panels and digital experience testing.

Today, Bastion Insights services an impressive list of government clients at the state and federal levels. This includes multiple studies on behalf of the Victorian Department of Transport, Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, Australian Department of Human Services, Australian Department of Health, ATO, ASIC, ACMA, and more. Our commercial work includes ongoing relationships with companies such as Medibank, Transurban, Australia Post, Metcash IGA and L’Oréal along with many other corporate clients.
