What’s In Store for 2023
Over the past few years, public sector entities across the world have shown incredible resilience and tenacity when faced with existential threats, including the COVID-19 pandemic, cyber security attacks, global economic uncertainty, and the rising popularity of revolutionary, science fiction-esque generative AI. Federal government employees have shown that successfully innovating and modernizing both internal process and external service delivery benefits U.S. citizens (as well as U.S. State governments) while also ensuring that the U.S. Federal government remains best-in-class.
Federal agencies and departments are inundated with numerous, often competing priorities, however – all of which require institutional knowledge retention, resourcing, and skilled employees, constraints that perpetually hinder the agile adaptation required for alignment with 21st century technology’s threats and benefits. Moreover, siloed departments – whether by design or by happenstance –
restrict information, data, and process sharing, which often leads to disjointed citizen-facing services.
How can Federal agencies establish best practices for the safe and responsible use of emerging technology? What types of collaborative initiatives can be initiated to co-create solutions to common challenges? Who are the next generation of Federal leaders – and where can they be found? And how can Federal agencies and departments include diverse voices and perspectives in developing forward-thinking strategies?
Bringing Federal government employees together to share their challenges, lessons learned, and successes enables maximized efficiency – a vital survival trait given the fast-paced nature of today’s technology landscape. Public Sector Network’s second annual Government Innovation Federal provides the ideal meeting place to learn, collaborate, and discuss current trends and technologies being leveraged across the Federal Government. With Tracks dedicated to Data and Cyber Security and Digital Government/Citizen Experience, this one-day, in-person event will offer inspiring cases of innovation from leaders representing an array of Federal departments and agencies designed to catalyze collaboration and creativity throughout the Federal landscape.
