Event Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant changes in the education sector. Overnight, educators and policymakers had to forge a plan to prioritize the health and safety of students across Canada and implement learning through virtual classrooms. This increased the demand on students, their families, and their educators to discard traditional in-person learning methods and adapt to virtual environments by developing digital literacy and efficiency. Schools have now shifted back to either in-person learning or have integrated hybrid models of learning with virtual environments as a continued option.

Nonetheless, the use of Education Technology has reached an all-time peak, and solutions are needed to ensure that students continue to have access to high-quality learning. They must also be optimally challenged and engaged to become resilient learners on pathways to success. Educators must feel empowered to increase standards of learning and innovate systems to produce higher learning outcomes.

Designed for education leaders overseeing primary and secondary students, EduTech Canada brings together education leaders, technology experts, and those who strive for innovative solutions for improving student and teacher learning outcomes in the digital era. EduTech Canada is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for education leadership teams to learn about the latest advancements in education technology and gain ideas to achieve classroom, school, and district-wide technology goals that are aligned with student success
