Program Overview

The digital future is upon us, and it is changing the way we live, work and connect.

A successful digital strategy requires collaboration between government, industry, and community stakeholders to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.

So how can your organisation achieve this? To address this, the Regional Development Australia Loddon Mallee’s Digital Summit will bring together digital leaders from Victoria and beyond, to celebrate, learn and shape our digital landscape over the next decade.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from high profile government speakers on future action and investment for building a digital economy in regions across Australia, and learn from industry leaders as they discuss how innovative new digital technologies and infrastructures are transforming industries.

Keynote Speaker Highlight

Victor Dominello is a former senior NSW Government minister. In July 2022 he was recognised by The Australian newspaper as one of the country’s top 100 innovators.

In 2019 Victor was appointed the world’s first Customer Service Minister. During his 12 year cabinet career he held a range of other portfolios including, Digital Government, Innovation, Finance and Aboriginal Affairs. He was part of the leadership group that led the state through Covid and he drove digital solutions such as QR check-ins, vaccine certificates and dine and discover vouchers via the ServiceNSW app.

Victor is recognised globally for the role he played in transforming public service delivery in NSW through initiatives such as the Department of Customer Service, Service NSW and the Digital Restart Fund.

In April 2023 he was appointed as Director of a new initiative from UNSW Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney – the Trustworthy Digital Society Hub, designed to lead research and insights in citizen-centred digital platforms.

UNSW and UTS developed the new Hub in close collaboration with Mr Dominello, aimed at supporting individuals, businesses and governments seeking to build a trustworthy digital society.
